First-time Visitors are Always Welcome!

St PAUL's will be honored by your visit! To help your first time go as smoothly as possible and be rewarding,  let's answer some questions you may have.

  • What is a typical Sunday morning like?

Visitors from around the world and respresenting all denominations enrich our worship each Sunday. To respect your time, we keep it short (10:30 to 11:15 a.m.) and purposeful. We sing hymns, read psalms together, hear readings from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, and enjoy a Scripture-based sermon -- often highlighting a connection among the readings, and always applying them to our lives together.

At least once a month (usually on the first Sunday) we celebrate Communion, or the Lord's Supper. We believe Jesus invites all of his followers to participate in this sacrament.

After worship we share fellowship and food in the Church Hall, a full meal once a month and snacks on other Sundays.

  • What about my kids?

We're a multi-generational and diverse congregation. Children are very welcome in worship. There are activity sheets and coloring sets for younger ones. We do not have a nursery at this time.

  • Where do I park?

A Town of Banff webpage describes parking options: Visitor Parking in Banff. Local and regional Roam Transit buses stop within a city block of the church: Roam Transit Map.

  • What do I wear?

We go for "mountain casual": not fancy, but respectful clothing, with layers and shoes appropriate for the weather.

  • How can I get connected?

Please call, email, or drop in during office hours. (If the front door is locked, ring the buzzer on the side door.) Click on "CONTACT" above for our contact information.
